About Me

Shea Carmen Swan

Shea Carmen Swan

Journalist & Photographer

I'm currently a senior at The New School Eugene Lang College for Liberal Arts. I'm a Journalism + Design major and minor in Gender Studies. I was the photo/ multimedia editor for The New School Free Press this past fall semester. I'm currently a staff writer and photographer for Posture Magazine, a queer arts magazine. I'm passionate about writing anything LGBTQIA related, and recently have become more infatuated with photojournalism and web design. Coding HTML, CSS, and Javascript is my newest endeavor. I plan on using all of my combined skills to make a big splash in the journalism world once I graduate with my B.A. in Journalism + Design.
